Project Profile - Residential Landscape Beds around Pool and House

Step 1 – Landscape bed with landscape fabric. Plants were installed and then fabric was put down. Two strips 3’ wide were used with slits easily cut to accommodate low growing plants.

Step 2 – Landscape bed is completed with mulch cover, and dressed out with a pre-emergent herbicide.

Step 3 – For this narrow bed, plants were installed and then fabric was put down. Ten slits perpendicular to the brick wall were cut and fabric was worked around the base of the shrubs and secured to the ground with GCI stick pins.

Step 4 – Landscape bed is completed with mulch cover.

Step 5 – This bed was prepared the same as above, note the 4” gap between the edge of the pool deck and landscape fabric. This area will be used to outline the bed with rotating spring and fall color plantings.
